Resolved: $1.10 per $100 (2025). The county tax office table lists $0.10 for 2025, but the Texas Comptroller lists $1.10 for 2024 and 2025, and the district's own Series 2026 bond official statement shows a $1.10 rate every year from 2022 to 2025 with collections computed at $1.10, plus an intent to levy $1.10 for 2026 ($0.56 road debt + $0.54 M&O). The $0.10 entry appears to be a table error, so $1.10 is used. Source: Montgomery County MUD 129 preliminary official statement, Oct. 2026 (PDF).

On a $400,000 home, this district alone adds about $4,400 a year ($367 a month) before any exemption the district offers.

A municipal utility district (MUD) is a local government that builds and pays for water, sewer, and drainage, usually by selling bonds and repaying them with a property tax. The MUD rate is added to county, school, and other rates on the same bill.
